3 DAY EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY RETREAT

3 DAY EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY RETREAT

Creative Mastery in Light, Horses & Storytelling - A 3-Day Immersive Photography Experience

The Equine Photography Retreat is a three-day, immersive creative experience designed for photographers who want to deepen their technical skills, artistic vision, and emotional storytelling through horses.

Hosted at Kelly Wilson’s property in Taupō, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from an internationally respected and award-winning equine photographer in an intimate, supportive setting.

Blending professional instruction with hands-on practice, this retreat goes far beyond learning camera settings. It is about learning how to see, feel, and capture the true essence of horses.

ABOUT THE RETREAT

Kelly began her professional photography journey through Christiane Slawik’s mentorship, attending a workshop in Austria in 2010, and co-hosting her New Zealand in 2013, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Many of the techniques she learned during those early experiences still form the foundation of her work today.

Kelly bring decades of experience, creative insight, and a shared passion for horses and visual storytelling.

This retreat is designed to give participants access to that knowledge in a practical, inspiring, and highly personalised way.
